Fatherless from birth, Colus IV is the heir apparent to the Colus throne, with this mother Elmelah acting as regent. Although a headdliner, he will not own a fatima or mortar headd in accordance with his mother’s wishes, leaving Saylay to take up the position of Commander in Chief. This creates problems, as his impulsive sister often acts brashly even in the international arena; his inability to personally take charge of Colus forces becomes a great liability in the turbulent era in which he reigns. Nonetheless, he proves to be a capable and competent king.
After his death, Colus leaves no heirs. This creates a gap of several centuries in which the Colus Dynasty is leaderless, which is finally resolved when Saylay’s descendant ascends to the throne as Colus V.
