Mohm
Another of Orguss’ tragic figures, Mohm is an android created by the civilization that created the Mu robots. She resembles a young girl and approaches Kei in episode 3 offering herself for sale as a domestic servant. Kei is at first furious that anyone would sell a girl as a slave but after learning she’s a robot takes pity on her and talks Mimsy into buying her with Glomar funds.
Mohm quickly proves useful when she connects the new Orguss’ actuators while in flight to enable Kei to chase off attackers. Although technically skilled, Mohm spends most of her time doing Kei’s laundry and cleaning. Even though she’s an android Mohm falls in love with Kei and is constantly trying to win his affection. Kei finds many reasons to ignore her most of the time, however. In episode 34 Mimsy leaves the Glomar to search for Mimsy and gives up her life when she connects her own internal battery to a gun turret to save Mimsy’s life from attacking Mu robots. Kei is devastated when he learns that Mohm is no more.
