Human Mecha of Genesis Climber Mospeada

Genesis Climber Mospeada’s human mecha were primarily designed by Aramaki Shinji. The names of many of the mecha are open to interpretation when putting into English letters. Variant spellings are listed in the profiles.

Mospeada and Invasion Stripes - The characteristic black and white bands of the humans’ mecha are called invasion stripes, and were first used on aircraft during the Normandy landings in WWII as a way to identify allied units from different countries to each other. In Genesis Climber Mospeada, this identifying marking was a necessary part of the pivotal Earth recapture plan, considering the scope and disposition of those involved.
